Hanging Like a Hex #14
First things first, these fellas picked a hell of a good name. But with a name like that they ought to be playing tougher music just because 'ol Henry was one tough motherfucker, and never took shit from anyone. Al that aside I'm still into the music, which is soft and intricate indie rock akin to Unwound and Slint. Clean guitars with off-timed drumming and tight bass weaves making for a puzzling, yet interesting mix. Good for solving arithmetic and rocking simultaneously. Art by Shepard Fairey graces the cover. Now go read "Ham on Rye".
