H.Chinaski have been playing together for ten years and they're from Wisconsin-no small feat.   What this record reminds me of almost immediately, is the Grifters, One Sock Missing in particular, which is one kick-ass fucking record according to me.   There's a similar feel with H.Chinaski.   It's that melody and groove buried under whatever else happens to be going on in the room at the time and if you're willing to play it a few times, you'll find it without having to try too hard.
