Jeff Mitchell is "the strange bastard offspring of a
fractured youth culture...*". At his home in rural
Iowa, Mitchell cooks up a hybrid folk casserole. He
takes it on the road with his grandfather's guitar, a
kick drum, and an echo box. The songs are flashes of
memory, emotion, and dry humor.

Jeff has played everything from metal in dive bars to
jug band music in grade schools. He's shared the
stage with folkies, punks, honkey-tonkers,
barbershoppers, hip-hoppers, yodeling cowboys, and
cardboard robots.
