Two thirds of Congratulations on Your Decision to Become a Pilot and former Cookie Bug members made up this smart indie pop band out of Oshkosh, WI. The Willis released their debut, Bathtub, Lightbulb, Heartattack in January 2006.

The Willis had been on hiatus for the past two years as Steve McCabe finished his PhD at UW-Milwaukee. In Feb 2009, the band was invited to perform on a test show for the recently launched, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The band played it's first local show in almost 2 years on 5.30.09. Steve McCabe continues his solo work in Attack Octopus. Eric Van Theil fronts Drop Dead Giants. Dean Hoffman and Eric Blumreich play in Southside Stranglers .
